This small wooden book box is made from MDF and is 1/8" thick. It has a sliding lock mechanism to hold the book closed. The outside of the book box measures 5" x 6 1/4" x 1 1/2". The inside mesaures approximately 4 1/2" x 5 5/8" x 1 1/8"
 
This book box can be ordered unassembled or assembled with glue. If you plan to cover your book box with paper, I would recommend purchasing the unassembled box and use the pieces as cutting templates for your paper. 
 
The book box can be painted, tinted with ink, colored with markers, or used as is. There will be slight charring on the edges as it was cut with a laser. You can lightly sand the pieces if you do not like the charring.
